He also performed to Starship's Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now – the 80s themed routine that gained him the perfect score of 30 from the five judges in week six.

Ray is counting on the support of his fans to perform a new interpretation of their world famous routine.

He said: "I have had fan mail from all different people who are supporting me.

"My family love the show, my nan who is 83 came down from Old Swan to watch me, I love her."

The ex-Brooksider was cheered on by his West End co-star and girlfriend Emma Stephens.
