Banksy style street art has been appearing in Southport

BANKSY-STYLE street art is appearing all over Southport.

The artist, whose identity is unknown, has created several images around the resort seemingly inspired by the famous Bristol-based graffiti artist whose work now sells for millions of pounds.

In Southport, passers-by have reported scenes of children, a woman smoking and a man relieving himself stencilled onto walls on Lord Street near Henry Piddicks Jewellers, on the side of the Halifax on London Street, and on a junction box near the Monument on Lord Street.
