HIGH winds caused traffic delays yesterday morning after panels blew off the side of a building.
One lane of Leeds Street, at the junction with Old Hall Street, was closed after two large metal panels blew off Littlewoods’ Computer Suite building.
Firefighters were called at around 8.30am to close the pavement after two panels blew into the road.
Firefighters climbed on to the roof of the building to secure the panels.
