Merseyside Police clamp down on the use of mini motos and scrambler bikes in South Liverpool

NUISANCE bikers are being targeted by police in south Liverpool.

Merseyside Police officers from Allerton and Belle Vale worked with City Watch to gather evidence and disrupt the use of mini motos in the area of King George V Playing Fields, Barnham Drive fields and Alderman Village Gardens, Escor Road.

A youth in Alderman Village Gardens was detained and his 50cc motorbike seized after officers viewed footage of the bike being ridden anti-socially. Another was seized on March 19, which turned out to be stolen.
