WORK has started on the renovation of a popular park.
West Lancashire District Council is improving facilities at Richmond Park, which will lead to closures.
The park will close to the public until April 3.
The existing children's play area and multi-use games area will be improved and diseased trees will be replaced. It will open for Easter so families can enjoy the holiday, but then close again from April 20 to May 1.
