Liverpool collectors get their treasures valued on BBC's Flog It

MERSEYSIDE antiques enthusiasts queued up in their droves to get their treasures valued when Flog It came to Liverpool yesterday.

Eager fans of the BBC2 show waited outside in the spring sunshine to watch filming taking place – and to see if their collectables and objets d’art would make the grade.

Presenter Paul Martin brought his team of experts to put a price to hundreds of unusual items – ranging from furniture to china, and even the proverbial family silver.

The programme invited members of the public to bring in objects they were considering selling.

Once valued, the owner and team of experts decided whether their treasure should go forward for auction.

The chosen items will now go up for public auction – hopefully making their owners a tidy sum.

The objects chosen from the St George’s Hall event will go on sale on Wednesday, April 29, at Dodd’s Auctioneers, Victoria Auction Galleries, Flintshire, and will be broadcast as part of the eighth series next year.
