THE detective leading the search for missing chef Claudia Lawrence said last night he had received some “very interesting calls” regarding her disappearance, including information about a previous relationship.
Det Supt Ray Galloway, of North Yorkshire Police, appeared on BBC1’s Crimewatch programme appealing for the public’s help in tracing the missing 35-year-old.
Miss Lawrence was last seen on March 18 after she finished work at the University of York’s Goodricke College and has not been in contact with anybody since around 8.30pm that night.
Following last night’s appeal, Mr Galloway said: “We’ve had very interesting calls. We’ve had some calls regarding a previous relationship. That’s a useful context to me.”
