TWO men have been rearrested in connection with the murder of a Liverpool woman.
Pauline Beattie, 54, was found dead at her terraced house in Anfield on June 6, 2006.
The 54-year-old had been strangled.
Police have confirmed two men from Anfield, aged 36 and 40, have been re-arrested on suspicion of murder and were being questioned at a station in Merseyside.
Mrs Beattie, who had mental health problems, was described at the time of her death as “vulnerable”.
She was well -known for sweeping the steps of her neighbours.
