CHESHIRE cabling group Volex has approved the sale of its wiring harness division.
The group said in February it was selling the division for a nominal £1 to Ionix Holdings, a management buy-out vehicle led by Volex’s vice president of global operations, Bill Taylor.
Yesterday, the deal was passed at an EGM.
Earlier this month, Volex revealed that chief executive Heejae Chae had left the business. His successor, Ray Walsh, joins the company this month.
