Fans queue for Wembley tickets 460
EVERTON FC will hold an online ballot for FA Cup semi-final tickets.
Supporters gathered in vain outside Goodison Park from as early as 4.30am yesterday.
But the disgruntled fans were told that management were meeting to decide how to distribute the remaining prized tickets.
It emerged that a small number of tickets for the clash with Manchester United at Wembley would go up for online ballot for lucky fans today at 9am.
A club spokesman said: “Due to the scarcity of those tickets, the club will operate a ballot process via the official Everton website.
“The ballot will open at 9am on Wednesday, April 8, and will close at 5pm on Thursday, April 9.
“Only those supporters who have attended three home games this season will be eligible.”
Supporters who have previously met the criteria but missed out on semi-final tickets will now be able to apply.
