SKI destination Geneva is the hottest route this Easter for Easyjet passengers flying out of Liverpool.
The airline operates 21 routes out of John Lennon airport, which is expecting its busiest period so far this year over the Bank Holiday break.
Carly Brear, Easyjet's UK commercial manager, said more than 500,000 passengers will fly with the airline from UK airports this weekend. And she said that Geneva was proving to be their most popular route out of Liverpoolover the weekend, closely followed by traditional Liverpool favourite Amsterdam.
The third most popular route for the Easter period has emerged as Malaga, on the Costa del Sol, with Paris also proving to be a holiday hotspot.
Mrs Brear said: “Easter weekend is always one of our busiest periods of the year, and this year hasn’t been any different.”
She added: “Despite a weak pound, it seems that nothing will stop Liverpudlians enjoying a holiday this Easter.”
