A GUNMAN has opened fire on the Crosby home of a property developer for the second time in less than six months.
On Sunday night, Terry Riley’s home on Elm Avenue was targeted when at 10.45pm a dark- coloured vehicle drove past, firing what police believe was a handgun at the property.
A series of shots were fired and police reported yesterday that damage consistent with a firearms discharge was discovered on examination of the house, and forensic experts were at the house.
In January, shots were also fired at Mr Riley’s home and the fire service were called to put out a blaze caused by a petrol bomb thrown at Mr Riley's 4x4 car.
A week ago, Shorrocks Hill Country Club, which is owned by Mr Riley's Ascot Group, was set alight in an arson attack.
No one was injured in any of the incidents, and police are yet to comment on whether the crimes could be linked.
ANYONE who has any information is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or the Guncrime Hotline 0800 458 1211.
