SIMON PEGG attended the UK premiere of Star Trek yesterday, declaring it was a “geek dream come true”.
Pegg, who donned a kilt for the event, is one of the stars of the movie, which features a young new crew venturing boldly where no one has gone before.
A blue carpet, smoke machines and fans wearing Spock ears added to the space-like effect.
The event took place in London’s Leicester Square.
Pegg said: “For me, tonight is very special. It’s the Empire Leicester Square. I saw films here as a child . . . it’s a geek dream come true.”
