Hollyoaks stars to tackle marathon

FOUR Hollyoaks stars will be tackling the London Marathon on Sunday to raise money for three charities.

Nicole Barber-Lane, Loui Batley, John Pickard and Junade Khan, who play Myra, Sarah, Dom and Ash in the Channel Four soap, are hoping to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity, Whizz-Kidz and Leonard Cheshire Disability.

Nicole, who is running for The Prostate Cancer Charity, said: “I ran the marathon last year, two days after my dad had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I happened to bump into a girl dressed as a pink fairy who was running for The Prostate Cancer Charity.

“I took it as a sign, and this year I will run for the charity and for my dad.”
