Gary Karofyylis, 27, was jailed for five years for attacking the woman on two separate occasions over a week.
Liverpool Crown Court heard during the first incident on September 14, last year, Karofyylis raped the vulnerable woman twice.
After he had finished the attack, he ordered the woman, who is in her mid-20’s, to go upstairs “for her own protection”.
Anne Whyte, prosecuting, told the court just a week later he carried out a further attack as the woman, who he had known for more than a decade, was going to bed.
Karofyylis, of no fixed address, ordered his victim into her young daughter’s bedroom and undressed her before raping her.
Jailing him, Judge Mark Brown said: “You didn’t just rape her on one occasion, but on two separate occasions.”
