CRIME in St Helens fell by a 10th over the past year, according to police figures.
The biggest fall was in the number of thefts from vehicles, with 217 fewer in the past 12 months.
Overall there were 1,471 fewer crimes in total.
There was also a fall in anti-social behaviour, with 2,604 fewer incidents – down 19%.
