Everton go green in support of NSPCC

EVERTON FC manager David Moyes is urging fans to help round off a year of fundraising for the NSPCC with a final push at Goodison tomorrow.

Everton players will wear green for the first time in the club’s history as they warm up for their Premier League match against Manchester City.

The stars will don the NSPCC T-shirts as fundraisers move throughout the stadium.

The Everton manager said: “I’m sure that our supporters will give generously on Saturday. It’s a fantastic cause and the centre in the city is something for everyone to be very proud of.”

Earlier this month, Moyes took part in the NSPCC Tipping Challenge – a horse-racing tipster tournament involving six football managers.

Tomorrow, pupils from Holy Cross Primary School will get to be mascot and toffee lady at the game.

FOOTBALLER Michael Carrick became the latest famous face to lend his support to the NSPCC.

The Man United star was in Warrington to meet youngsters at the daily drop-in service at the Tim Parry/ Johnathan Ball Young People’s Centre.
