A WARRINGTON man has been arrested for attempted murder after a man was left with serious injuries outside a nightclub.
At around 1am on Saturday, a 55-year-old man was assaulted outside Maddison’s Night Club in Northwich.
Officers arrested a 33-year-old man for attempted murder and a 31-year-old woman, from Warrington, on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A 41-year-old man from Northwich and a 46-year-old man from Warrington who were arrested on suspicion of assault have been released on police bail pending inquiries.
The 55-year-old man, who suffered a serious head injury, is being treated at North Staffordshire hospital where he remains serious.
