Teddy bear hit by EasyJet ban

AIRLINE Easyjet last night apologised after check-in staff refused to allow a six-year-old girl to carry a teddy bear on to a jet.

Alba Apreciado-Peris, of Willingham, Cambridgeshire, was told that her bear was too big and would have to travel in the hold.

Her mother Amparo Peris-Bordes, decided to post the bear – a present to her daughter during a visit to Scotland.

A spokesman for Easyjet said: “Common-sense should always be applied when we are dealing with little girls and teddy bears.”
