A WOMAN accused of murdering her young daughter is to stand trial later this year.
Laura Fletcher, 22, was charged with killing four-year-old Chloe last month.
The little girl’s body was discovered fully dressed at her home in Oakdale Ave, Wallasey, after Fletcher phoned an ambulance.
The nursery school pupil had drowned and was laid out on her mother’s bed.
Yesterday, Fletcher appeared at Liverpool Crown Court for a preliminary hearing via video link from Styal women’s prison.
The case will be heard again on July 31 when Fletcher is expected to enter a plea. A trial date was set for late October.
