Liverpool Military Show brings hundreds to Walton Hall Park

MILITARY re-enactment enthusiasts carried out a re-enactment of the D-Day landings at Normandy in a Liverpool yesterday.

Overhead, the Red Devil Army parachutists swooped through glorious blues skies above Walton Hall Park as part of this Year’s Liverpool Military Show.

The army spectacular raises money for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA).

Crowds were given plenty of action as riders leapt through blazing rings of fire.

Merseyside’s buglers helped build the volume as part of The Rifles band. Young people also played their part as the military cadets were out in force.
