More may turn to loan sharks

AROUND 200,000 people may turn to loan sharks because they cannot borrow money from legal sources, a report warned today.

A combination of the economic downturn and a cut in business being done by door-step lenders, is leaving many with little choice, think tank the New Local Government Network said.
