POLICE have confirmed a 33-year-old man from Cheshire died in a collision at Liverpool’s infamous Rocket junction.
The man, who was driving a VW Golf, was pronounced dead at the scene following the Sunday afternoon crash.
Merseyside police last night said they would not be releasing details of the man’s identity.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Edge Lane Drive, Queens Drive and the M62 motorway at 4.25pm on Sunday.
The occupants of a Mini Cooper involved in the crash escaped serious injury.
