A LIVERPOOL mother-of-two faces a year in jail after she admitted committing adultery in Dubai.
Sally Antia appeared in court last week charged with the offence which is deemed a criminal act in the United Arab Emirates.
The 44-year-old grew up in Liverpool and is understood to have attended Kingsthorne Primary School, in Hunts Cross, in the 1970s.
Mrs Antia, whose maiden name was Platt, works for a corporate entertainment firm. She is said to have lived in Dubai for over a decade where she is married with two girls, aged 11 and 13.
The Merseyside woman admitted cheating on her husband, Vincent, and arranging for her lover to fly to the strict Muslim emirate for secret trysts at the hearing.
It is understood police arrested Mrs Antia as she left a five-star hotel following a tip-off from jealous husband Vincent, 48.
In court on Sunday, the mother-of-two, said to have had no legal representation, admitted the charge.
At the next hearing, her unnamed lover will present his defence after denying the charge against him.
Her Friends Reunited profile page states: “Living in Dubai for the last 12 years. Married with two girls, aged 11 and 13. Enjoying the sunshine, but often home to watch a match. Massive Reds fan.
“Happy and healthy . . . what more can you ask for?”
In the section on the website titled Future Plans, the cat lover writes: “To get home to see some more football.”
