A CALCUTTA-BORN artist is preparing to spend 40 days and 40 nights as a “living exhibit” in the empty tower of a museum.
Ansuman Biswas will live in complete solitude in the disused room at the Manchester Museum, with only a selection of carefully chosen artefacts for company.
The 43-year-old’s sole contact with the outside world will be via a webcam and an internet blog where he will document his experience as a hermit.
The Manchester Hermit project runs at the Manchester Museum from June 27 to August 5.
