A MOTHER told yester- day how she was keeping a close eye on her son’s gap year adventures - by fitting him with an 007-style tracking device.
After flying thousands of miles across the globe to get away from home, Harry Wilder, 19, from Oxford, was ordered to wear a satellite device which constantly keeps a record of his location.
The gadget, which sends a GPS signal to his parents, was created by Mr Wilder’s uncle, David Clayton.
The teenager, who will start his studies at Oxford Brookes University in September, went out to Kenya in January and is now in Australia.
