FIVE men and one woman have been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into suspected organised insider dealing.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) said those arrested were aged between 27 and 34.
Search warrants were also executed at eight addresses in London and Essex as part of the operation, which was jointly run by the FSA and the City of London Police Economic Crime Directorate (ECD).
The FSA said the operation and investigation were part of its efforts to tackle market abuse.
These are the third arrests into organised insider dealing in the last 12 months.
