Parents call for justice

THE parents of a teenage Army cadet who drowned in a boating accident have demanded justice for their “murdered” daughter.

Lesley and Derek McIntosh called for criminal prosecutions following the death of schoolgirl Kaylee in a training exercise in South Uist, in the Outer Hebrides.

Their comments followed the publication of a sheriff’s findings from an inquiry into the 14-year-old’s death. Sheriff Alasdair MacFadyen said a series of failures had contributed to Kaylee’s death.
