A LIVERPOOL mother has been jailed for two months for committing adultery in Dubai.
Sally Antia, 44, was handed the sentence yesterday after admitting cheating on her husband Vincent at an earlier hearing.
Her lover, Mark Hawkins, who is fromWarrington, was also sentenced to two months at the court in Dubai.
They couple are both now expected to be deported once they complete their sentences.
Mad keen Liverpool FC fan, Mrs Antia, a mother-of-two, could have faced up to 12 months behind bars.
It is thought she and Mr Hawkins may lodge an appeal to be released after serving half their sentences.
In court, the Warrington mans barrister argued that Mrs Antias husband, a pilot, who tipped off authorities that led to his wifes arrest, had been aware of their relationship for some time.
Mrs Antia was arrested leaving a five-star hotel with her Warrington lover earlier this month.
Mrs Antia is a former pupil at Kingsthorne Primary School, in Hunts Cross.
Over the weekend, Mr Hawkinss estranged wife, Helen, 35, spoke at her Winsford home about her husbands incarceration.
She reportedly said: We are in the process of getting divorced but we still live together.
