THE millionth word or phrase in the English language has been named as “Web 2.0” – but experts disputed whether the title was justified.
The phrase was placed at the 1m mark by the Global Language Monitor.
GLM had shortlisted 15 words to fulfil its calculation that English would hit 1m words yesterday.
