THIS Sunday is Father’s Day – the perfect excuse to celebrate the great outdoors with your dad.
The National Wildflower Centre, on Roby Road, has a great weekend of activities. On Saturday, from 1pm, there’s a craft day where you can decorate a pot and plant a bee and butterfly friendly flower with your dad, or make a card for Father’s Day. Entry is £4.

RECLAIM your local park on June 27 with help from the People's Parks Event. Organised by National Museums Liverpool and the Liverpool Parks Friends Forum, it looks at the importance of parks, their history in Liverpool, and the challenges of regeneration and environment for local communities.
