Merseyside has been rocked by bad weather and heavy downpours with parts of the region already seeing flash floods and thunderstorms. In St Helens on Tuesday, a community centre had to be closed after the roof was hit by lightning and many roads had to be closed.
But forecasters are predicting our unsettled weather may improve over the coming days.
The outlook for today is bright and sunny intervals with isolated showers, although most of the region should stay dry.
Tomorrow and Saturday will be mainly dry but cloudy and windy in parts bringing scattered showers.
Anyone returning tennis tickets must do so within seven days.
