TWO people were taken to hospital yesterday after a white Mercedes crashed into a balloon shop on County Road, Liverpool.
The car collided with a taxi before hitting the shutters of the shop and ending up on its roof at around 4am on Sunday morning.
The driver, a man thought to be in his 20s, and a female passenger, were taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening. A passenger from the taxi was also taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
Police closed the road and are continuing their inquiries. Anyone with information should call 0151 777 4564.
