YOUNG professionals from across Liverpool will put politicians through their paces in a special question time event.
Members of Merseyside Young Professionals (MYP) and Liverpool Chamber of Commerce will be able to grill the newly-appointed minister for health MP Andy Burnham, shadow home secretary Chris Grayling and council leader Warren Bradley.
Caroline McEvoy, of MYP, said: “Rather than just listening to politicians speak, we decided it would be much more relevant and interesting for our members to be able to put to local and national politicians of the three main parties questions on topics that relate to them.”
Chris Grayling MP said: “The last few months in British politics have been the most dramatic for many years. Liverpool’s Young Professionals will have many important questions to ask.”
The panel will have just one minute each to answer each question faced.
