A 28-YEAR-OLD woman was still fighting for her life last night after a car mounted the pavement and ploughed into her.
The woman was walking past the Broadway Dental Practice, at the junction of Townsend Avenue and Broad Lane, Norris Green, when two cars crashed at around 8.45am on Monday.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance where police yesterday said she remained in a “very critical condition” on a life-support system.
The woman has not yet been named, but she worked in the local William Hill Bookmakers for around four years.
