Vandalism disrupts Wirral Line train services

VANDALISM is thought be behind a train fire that brought services grinding to a halt on the Wirral Line yesterday.

Debris left on the line is thought to have caused the fire on the undercarriage of the Ellesmere Port-bound train. It took until 4pm for the train to be cleared and for track damage to be repaired.
