Wirral man slashed with knife at Liverpool bar

General operations manager Mat Cunningham said: “Looking at footage, it seems like this wasn’t at the bar but in a booth area where guys and girls have been drinking together. It looks like they were drinking together, whether they arrived together or not.

“We don’t have serious incidents whatsoever, as we have strict door policy about gangs of guys, but it seems this guy came in with one girl.

“We’re not au fait with things like this, because we don’t really have incidents like this.

“We’re devastated by it and we’re in touch with the victim and doing all we can for him.”

Anyone with information should contact St Anne Street CID on 0151 777 4064, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

ONE in 10 teenagers living in areas with high levels of knife crime still carry a weapon to feel safe, a poll of five hundred 13-to 19-year-olds suggests.
