Grenade injury

A MAN taking part in a World War II re-enactment was taken to hospital after a grenade exploded in his hands.

The man, in his 60s, was flown to Selly Oak Hospital, in Birmingham, with blast wounds after paramedics were called to the event on the outskirts of Evesham, Worcestershire.

The man suffered injuries to his chest and face.
