The Saturdays meet fans at HMV in Liverpool

FANS of the hit girl band, The Saturdays, met their idols in the city centre ahead of their concert at the Liverpool Empire. The group were at HMV, in South John Street, yesterday just hours before their show to promote their new single, Work. The band met fans and signed copies of their new CD.

The song features on their debut album, Chasing Lights, which has already produced four UK top 10 singles, including If This Is Love, Up and Issues. The band’s Comic Relief 2009 single, Just Can’t Get Enough – a cover of the Depeche Mode classic – is also on the album.

Rochelle, Frankie, Una, Vanessa and Mollie are embarking on a mini-HMV signing tour, which wraps up in London’s Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday.

The group, who have already toured with hit girl group Girls Aloud, wowed fans at their Liverpool Empire concert. The girls, who have worked with Liverpool fashion label Rare on a new range, dressed to impress for the show.
