A MAN has denied raping a woman in a popular park.
Stephen Ord, 36, is alleged to have attacked the woman as she walked her dog in Calderstones Park on April 11.
Ord, of Acuba Road, Wavertree, is also accused of assaulting another woman with intent to commit a sexual offence.
Ord appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video-link from Walton prison.
He entered not guilty pleas to all three charges of rape, committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence and assault by beating.
A trial date was fixed for September 14.
