New team at Liverpool's Parr Street Studio where Coldplay recorded hits

“Although we’re relatively young, altogether we’ve probably been in the industry for 30 years,” Mr Tudor-Williams added.

“We’re a good team, we’re at the top of our game, and we want everything about this company to work.

“So far, it’s been amazing to see the response that we’re getting.”

Local bands, as well as big name contacts, have been lining up to use the facilities at Studio 3.

It will also be available for private use and there are hopes to use it as an educational facility for disadvantaged youths.

First through the doors will be seminal Liverpool band Wild Swans, who are about to start rehearsals for two special shows at Static Gallery at the end of the month.

The studio is keeping its original piano, which has featured on numerous recordings from the A-list bands who have recorded there in the past, including Coldplay, who recorded most of their breakthrough album Parachutes and follow up A Rush of Blood to the Head in the city.

Parr Street Studios is one of Liverpool’s music industry success stories.

As well as recording space, it houses a boutique hotel, bars, and office space.

Over the years, a diverse number of artists from Take That to Napalm Death and Russell Watson to John Martyn have used the facilities – as well as Liverpudlian talent including Ian McNabb, Pete Wiley, Cast, China Crisis and The Christians.
