He added: “It’s an idea that we’ve had for quite a while, in terms of acknowledging the legacy of previous Liverpool heroes and the cultural, arts and sports folds.” He added that there had been talk of siting the Walk of Fame close to the Echo Arena Liverpool.
The favoured site now is somewhere close to the new Museum of Liverpool, close to the Three Graces.
Cllr Sidorczuk added: “I think it’s important to acknowledge people who are not so widely known for their contributions.”
