AFTER the 3,100-passenger Crown Princess visited Liverpool Cruise Terminal on Monday, next in was the 12-passenger Patricia.
The contrast could hardly be greater with the deluxe megaliner as Patricia, Trinity House’s 27-year-old flagship, is a working vessel tending 69 lighthouses and light buoys around England and Wales.
She docked at the new landing stage for the first time to embark the Trinity House board for its annual West Coast inspection.
Commodore Jim Scorer, TH director of operations, said: “This is part of our audit to see work being done and that our estate is being cared for.”
Capt Trevor Dann, of Patricia, said: “We’ve changed the River Dee buoys and will now sail for Swansea.”
A week aboard Patricia costs from £1,225 per person.
