Later, Jacko’s minder handed her the hat the star wore to sing Billie Jean, as a thank you.
She said: “It was brilliant. It was so unbelievable. All I could see was Michael Jackson and I on the big screen. It was incredible.”
Ms Stopforth said she was devestated to hear of the star’s death.
She has had the hat placed in a secure vault.
“It’s such a fantastic memory. It doesn’t happen every day.”
