ONE of the most unusual and gruelling events in the sporting calendar was completed in a world record time.
The Bog Snorkelling Triathlon in Llanwrtyd Wells in mid Wales, was finished in two hours, 21 minutes and five seconds by Dan Bent, 30, of Richmond.
Entrants must run seven-and-a-half miles, complete two lengths of the town’s infamous 135-foot long, six-foot deep bog, and cycle 19 miles.
