SOLICITOR Sarah Sykes has jumped from E Rex Makin & Co. to Armstrongs.
The litigator, who specialised in claims against the police, follows her former boss, Ian Carruthers, who was a partner at Makins, in Whitechapel, Liverpool. Mr Carruthers now runs Armstrong’s commercial litigation arm.
He said: “Sarah built a great reputation for her litigation work while at Rex Makin and Co, and we are delighted that she has chosen to join Armstrongs.”
The Old Hall Street-based firm claims to be Liverpool’s fastest growing outfit.
In just two years, it has grown into a firm employing more than 100 staff.
