Liverpool Anglican Cathedral prepares for graduation ceremonies

LIVERPOOL’S Anglican Cathedral is preparing to welcome more than 4,000 final-year students as they graduate from Liverpool Hope University and Liverpool John Moores University over the coming weeks.

And, for the first time ever, the Cathedral will extend its opening hours so that graduates and members of the public can enjoy the building and the view from the top of the tower.

A spokesman said: “The graduation ceremonies offer the students the chance to mark an important landmark in their careers in an awesome setting. It’s clear from previous years that students have really appreciated graduating in such a majestic location.”

During graduation ceremonies, normal services will take place at 8:30am, 12:05pm and 5.30pm. Prayer will be available in the Chapter House, with access via the Lady Chapel.
