AIRPLANE enthusiasts are gearing up for the annual Aviation Fair at the old Speke Aerodrome.
The Jetstream Club’s fifth show will take place on Sunday and will include the Jetstream 41, Grumman Yankee and Percival Prince aircraft.
The Merseyside Police helicopter, a Korean war era Bell 47 M.A.S.H.-style helicopter, and possibly a Vietnam era Loach helicopter, will also be on display.
Dragsters, hot-rods, motorcycles and vintage fire tenders will be on the former airport’s apron.
Entrance costs £2 or £5 per car. Proceeds from the event will be divided between the Jetstream Club, the North West Air Ambulance, Wirral Pathfinders and the South Liverpool Sea Cadets.
