AN “ALIEN invader” was surrounded by high security and armed guards as it arrived at Wirral’s Spaceport yesterday.
The dramatic scenes were all part of the preparations for the attractions’s new Alien Wars reality experience, which opens to the public on Friday.
The story goes that an extra-terrestrial has been discovered in the USA, and after being examined at a military base at “Groom Lake” (AKA Area 51), in Nevada yesterday, Spaceport, at Seacombe Ferry, was selected to take the creature and put it on public view.
Alien Wars creator Garry Gillies said: “Visiting Spaceport will be a unique and perhaps terrifying experience this summer.
“There will be marine fighters to protect you, though, if the alien escapes.”
