Former Lord Mayor of Liverpool’s house planning bid deferred

A DECISION into whether a former Lord Mayor can build a house in his garden has been deferred.

The planning application of Cllr Paul Clark, who lives in south Liverpool, was due to be discussed yesterday.

But the planning committee was told that the item was being removed from the agenda for further discussions with Cllr Clark.

He wants to section off part of his extensive garden to build a four-bedroom house with a detached double garage.
